Maria is a Russian-born, French-raised student in politics and sociology with East European Studies at UCL, currently on her year abroad in Budapest. She is also preparing a distance degree at Sorbonne University in South-Slavic studies. Despite her academic interests in financial crime, courts have always been her little MUN niche (to which, alas, she’s lately been a little unfaithful) and she is very excited to chair ICJ at LSEMUN this year (especially alongside her best friend Ekaterina:))). Outside of MUN and academia, Maria enjoys a long run, a good Murakami book, a good David Lynch film, and a little candlelight-painting-vinyl combo. She is very excited to meet you all soon!

Ekaterina a Law student at Durham. She has been attending Model UN conferences as both delegate and chair since high school. She discovered her passion for court committees early on, and is looking forward to running her sixth MUN trial at LSEMUN 2026 and reuniting with her partner in crime (or, rather, in prosecution) Maria, this session’s Head Director, as well as working with Neville for the first time. Ekaterina serves on the Board of the London Youth Diplomacy Foundation. Aside from MUN, she enjoys painting with watercolours and - every so often - a round of golf with friends.

Neville is from Hong Kong, and is currently a first year law student at the LSE. He finds MUN a perfect arena to explore his interests in international law, while making friends from around the globe. Having been a delegate, chair, and a member of the secretariat in the high-school MUN circuit in Hong Kong, he is excited to engage with the European circuit at LSEMUN. Having chaired the ICJ in high-school, he looks forward to the fiery debates that will no doubt ensue! Outside of MUN, you might find him doing cartwheels or hugging plush animals.
