House of Commons
European Union (Withdrawal Agreement) Bill - The Brexit Deal in 2019

Director
Isabel Moon-Parry
Isabel is a graduate in European Politics from King’s College London having completed her university journey in July. Having attended 30 conferences during her three years at university, including being the President of KCLUNA and the Secretary-General of ULMUN and LIMUN HS in 2024-25, she was previously Deputy Chair of LSEMUN 2025’s House of Commons. She cannot wait to return to the committee this year, armed with new ideas and changes to the committee that she hopes you will all enjoy, with some specially designed for this historical topic. Outside of Model UN, she spends her time playing football, assisting in a Law Centre and taking overnight coaches back and forth to London.

Director
Brendan McLean
Brendan is a 2nd Year War Studies and History student from KCL. He has grown up in 5 different countries, most recently Malaysia, before returning to the UK for A-Levels and university. He's been doing MUN for almost 9 years but only did one conference before university: subsequently, he's done too many as both a delegate and a chair, but this is his first time chairing HoC. Outside of MUN and procrastinating coursework, he fills his time with listening to obscure music, reading and putting minimal effort into learning Russian.

Director
Niobe Szabo
Niobe is a first-year International Relations Student at King's College London. She rejoined MUN three years ago and hasn’t looked back since, attending a whole host of conferences both as a chair and as a delegate. With a keen interest in British politics that goes beyond the soundbites of May, Johnson, and Truss, she is eager to chair House of Commons this year and revisit the chaotic days of Brexit. If she has any free time, you’ll likely find her in a swimming pool, attempting to bake something delicious while ignoring the recipe, or catching up on the latest crime thriller novels.

Co-Director
Syméon Laloux
Symeon is a Master 1 student pursuing a double degree in EU Law and Languages at Paris Pantheon-Assas University and ISIT. Originally from Lille, he is currently on an exchange year at UCL in London. With four years of MUN experience, he has served as a delegate, lawyer and staff member at conferences across Europe. This year, he joins the LSE MUN 2026 chairing team and will co-lead the EU Crisis Committee, aiming to create an immersive and unprecedented crisis. Beyond MUN, Symeon is deeply engaged in promoting student diplomacy within the FDNU, where he has organised speech contests in collaboration with embassies. He now serves as the organisation’s young ambassador in the UK, focusing on European affairs. Outside of his academic pursuits, he loves swimming, practising body workout outside, and dancing at socials, especially French rock and bachata.
