Who can take part in LSEMUN?Our conference is open to all university students, both undergraduate and postgraduate. Sixth-formers and high school students may participate in some cases, however, due to limited capacity, we reserve the right to decide this on a case-by-case basis. Under 18's are permitted to attend the conference as long as they are at university.

What is the maximum delegation size?We do not impose a maximum delegation size. However, we ask that head delegates let us know how many delegates they are bringing.

What is the dress code for the conference?We ask that delegates attend the opening and closing ceremonies in Western business attire, which also remains the staple of the conference. However, Crisis being Crisis, props and costumes will not be entirely ruled out, so feel free to get a little creative during committee sessions!

What is a social pack? Do I have to buy one?Whilst the social pack is optional, we urge everyone to get them - following feedback from last year, we are working extra hard to ensure our socials are enjoyable, exclusive, value for money and give a good feel of the uniqueness of a London night out. Besides, as more experienced Crisis delegates will already know, many subtler decisions are made both over dinner whilst exploring the city! However, we reiterate that it is not mandatory. When will I receive my assignment?After registration has closed and all fees have been paid in full.

Who can I contact about special assistance?Delegates requiring special assistance should reach out to the Delegate Affairs team at lsemundelegateaffairs@gmail.com.

Can LSEMUN sponsor my VISA?Unfortunately not. Delegates are responsible for all their expenses. However, the secretariat can, upon request, produce a signed invitation letter for your VISA application.

Is accommodation and transport arranged for us?Unfortunately not. Delegates will have to arrange their own accommodation and transportation.

When are payments due?For the application to be considered, the application must contain proof of payment of the delegate fee.

What is the refund policy?We will only offer refunds for cancellations up to a week prior to the conference. This means, as of 26/02/04 we are unable to accept refund requests unless under exceptional circumstances. Delegates who cancel last minute will need to provide sufficient evidence for their refund request.

Is financial aid available?This year we are proud to announce that financial aid is available for underprivileged delegates. For more information please see our Bursary scheme page, which is available by clicking below.
