Any delegate attending LSE Model United Nations must:
-
Be currently enrolled in a university course (undergraduate or postgraduate degree);
-
Be of 18-25 years old;
-
Be proficient in the English language (the working language of the conference).

Note: If you are a high school student, we encourage you to apply to our partner conference, London Youth Model United Nations, which is also organised at the LSE in partnership with LSESU United Nations Society. You can click me for more information.
Step 2 - Submit an application
Regular Applications this year will be hosted on myMUN. You can find the relevant links on the top of this page. If you are unable to set up an account on myMUN, please contact the Secretariat at lsemun@lsesu.org for assistance.

The definition of a delegation is 5 or more delegates. Delegations are encouraged to register during the Early Registration Round in order to benefit from 10% off regular delegate fees (effectively £26.55 per delegate). Those who commit to bringing 13 or more delegates will benefit from 20% regular delegate fees (effectively £23.60 per delegate). Anyone who registers during this time will also be eligible for 10% off social tickets when they are released.

Any delegation participating for the first time at LSEMUN will be eligible for 10% off the regular delegate fee regardless of the time of application (effectively £26.55 or £33.75 per delegate during the Late Registration Round). This offer cannot be used in combination with the Early Registration offer.

Delegations will be able to change the number of delegates attending a conference for any reason, free of charge, until 1 February 2026. Fees will be adjusted based on the number of delegates. After which, adjustments will be processed in accordance with the Refund Policy.
Step 3 - Pay the delegate fee
All applications are processed on a rolling basis, and you can expect to hear from back the Secretariat within 5 working days.
There are two ways to pay relevant delegate fees:
Through the payment platform of the LSE Students' Union - Native. Delegations eligible for a discount will be provided with a coupon code to pay a lower delegate fee. Delegations must pay the whole fee in one go (by purchasing multiple tickets on Native), and submit evidence of payment to the Secretariat at lsemun@lsesu.org. Payment is due within one week of confirmation. This is always the cheaper method of payment, and we encourage this method.

Through myMUN. Follow the payment instructions through the myMUN platform. Please note that if you are a delegation or a delegate benefiting from a discount, you must make payment on Native to benefit from it.

Please note that applications will not be confirmed until payment is received and confirmed.

Faculty Advisors are welcome to attend the conference free of charge, provided they have been registered during application.
Step 4 - Submit Committee Preferences
Delegations who have confirmed their participation during Early Registration will be invited to fill out a spreadsheet with their committee and regional preferences. Delegations who confirm afterwards will be invited to fill out their preferences after their application has been approved. Please note that while the Secretariat will try their best to fulfill your preferences, this will be harder as we edge closer to the conference dates. As such, it is in your interest to make an application as soon as possible.

Individual Delegates will be invited to submit their preferences during the application process.

We expect to make Committee Allocations every 2 weeks from the start of the Official Registration Round. These will be communicated on this website and our social media platforms. Allocations will only be done for confirmed participants.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Refund Policy?
Confirmed delegates who demonstrate a valid change of circumstances (such as change in university assessments, visa denial, transportation issues, etc.) will be able to request a refund by emailing the Secretariat at lsemun@lsesu.org. Please note that this is subject to discretion by the Secretariat. Please note that no refunds will be entertained after 25 February 2026.
Delegations will be able to change the number of delegates attending a conference for any reason, free of charge, until 1 February 2026. After which, the Refund Policy will apply.
How do I request an invitation letter to attend the Conference?
Delegates will be asked during the application process if you require a visa to enter the United Kingdom. If this is the case, the Secretariat will be in contact after an application has been submitted, and relevant delegate fees have been paid. Due to regulatory changes with the Home Office, we are now required to conduct further checks before issuing delegates with an invitation letter to attend the Conference. As such, we may request one or more of the following:

-
Proof of proficiency in the English language (such as IELTS/TOEFL, English-language courses in university);
-
Transportation and accomodation arrangements during the Conference;
-
Your mymun profile, if you have previously attended other MUN conferences.

The Secretariat reserves the right to deny issuance of a visa letter should we request further information and they are not received by the specified deadline. Please note that you should reserve ample time to apply for a tourist visa from the Home Office, and we are unable to issue visa letters after 25 February 2026.
Refunds will only be entertained if we have issued you with an invitation letter, but your visa application has still been denied by the Home Office before 25 February 2026.
Can you provide accomodation during the conference?
All delegates are responsible for sourcing their own transportation and accomodation in London during the course of the conference. The Secretariat will provide a list of recommendations and is currently working to secure deals with various providers.
