UK House of Commons

Cyber-terrorism in 2040

CRISIS

Set in the year 2040, parliament is split over the idea of Irish reunification and this has been the main focus of parliament for months now, until cyber attacks began all over the country. Firstly, the national grid was hacked, then there was issues with water filtration systems, and now drones are attacking schools and public places.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

In this crisis you will need to figure out who is behind these attacks, represent your constituents in upcoming elections, and figure out how to deal with the potential Irish Reunification amongst so much more!

GREETINGS FROM THE CRISIS DIRECTOR

Hi!! My name is Mollie, I’m from the UK and a 2nd year Politics and International Relations student at LSE. I’ve been doing Crisis for most of my conferences at university and absolutely love it! I am so excited to be the Crisis Director for the House of Commons committee this year at LSEMUN 2024. I’ve always been interested in British politics so whilst there is that element in this committee, I am also including international elements and really excited to see where you take the topic! Also, I’m really looking forward to working with you all to dissect this crisis however you choose! I’ve got loads planned and I want to make this the most valuable and exciting experience for you as possible. I’m looking forward to meeting you all and welcoming you to London in February!
